As a blogger who works on Christmas Gifts Guides, Christmas always arrive early. If we aren't moving soon I might just put our Christmas decorations up!
So here is Clay getting spoiled again in September with one of his favourite program, Fireman Sam's toy - Fireman Sam Ocean Rescue Playset. It's definitely the Christmas gift option I'd go for for any Fireman Sam's fan!
The Fireman Sam Ocean Rescue Playset (rrp £34.99, suitable for children age 3 years+) comes with the Ocean Rescue Centre, Fireman Sam and Juno Jet Ski. The tower and slidable heli-pad (each takes 2 AAA batteries) are both removable and comes with flashing lights, and the tower also comes with a siren. Juno Jet Ski can be launched through the spring loaded Jet Ski launcher, and the Tower and Fireman's Pole can both work (see video below for demonstration).

Clay really likes the set. He especially love to launch Fireman Sam and Juno with the Jet Ski launcher and he couldn't stop giggling every time they shoot off!
Initially I was a bit confused with the heli-pad as no helicopter came with the playset, but then I noticed that the Fireman Sam range is fairly big and one of the toy in the range is the helicopter Hook (rrp £9.99) that will sit perfectly on the heli-pad.
The Siren is a pretty cool and realistic feature, but can be a bit too much if it kept going. Simply press the light button again to make it stop. On the other hand, the Heli-pad's quiet flashing light is much easier to be overlooked at and left on even though there is an on/ off switch on the side.
We are very happy with the playset, and can see all the other Fireman Sam's fans loving it too. There is plenty of features on the Ocean Rescue Centre to keep Clay busy, and even if we don't have the helicopter, it didn't bother him at all. In fact, if I am to buy him additional toys for the playset, I'd go for more figures so Clay can play out some of the scenes from the show (he loves doing that!). Norman Price and Elvis will definitely be on the top of that list!
